Snow in Jerusalem

A rare snowfall in February 2015.   As the good book said thousands of years ago:

‘Pray that your flight be not in winter.’  Indeed, the timelessness of God’s word. Always relevant, always true. It’s always a great sight seeing many flock to the Western Wall to pray during this latest winter wonder.

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth                                                               my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God.

‘Pray that your flight be not in winter.’” – And yet you believe that shepherds were out in the fields watching their flocks on December 25th, right?

Who cares what the date was.

The post is about beautiful and rare snow. Are you aware it is also cold in winter, which may play a part in travel?

Must you find darkness in everything?

Beautiful, gorgeous breathtaking. The word of God, living and breathing. Lord cast the ugliness out of here and let your words fall on good soil. You are only good, there is none higher than you.
The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Psalm 118:6

  3. May no one ever say that there is not beauty in the Middle East—-a rare, beautiful gift of Mother Nature, poured out of God’s own hand—now Bostonians may take issue with such 😉 but may those in Jerusalem find a moment of delight and peace—
    Thank you for sharing—

Yes, nice observations. The Bostonians could ask in the spirit of the Fiddler on the roof: Is there a blessing for the snow?

Yes, ‘May God bless and keep the snow………….far from us.’ 😉

Apart from the inconvenience and sometimes danger, there is nothing on earth like a fresh blanket of snow.
