So long, fare well

Don’t you love how a new day is announced,  where the magical time between darkness and light calls for attention to the exquisite nature of the Creator. Did I say Creator? Uh yep, as there is no doublespeak or ambiguity here.

Image result for sunrise

The darkness is not dismissed and the light is not brought forth abruptly. There is no slamming of the refrigerator door, there is no unwanted noise when the light says to darkness: ‘Good bye.’  The baton is passed from darkness to light seamlessly, and perfectly; something otherwise impossible if it were not for the hand of God.

Image result for darkness

He is like this. Unassuming, yes, so like the Lord Christ who speaks to the spirit of man yet demands no obeisance. His words are like a magnet, as they are spirit and they are life. The new day must dismiss the darkness. Who else is the caretaker of natures perfections.

The handprints of the divine are stamped upon every new day as the curtain of life rises. The song birds begin to chirp, as the owl has no place in a new dawn. The thin line between night and day is a hallmark of magnificence,  with the reminder that He divided the light from the darkness.

So we too have a choice as to what cultivates our attention. Light or darkness. We read that of Christ: In Him was the light of men. Of course, who else carries such lumens….and did not that once rascal Saul of Tarsus receive a new set of eyes as he was blinded by the glory of THAT light? Indeed, it was not punitive, but glorious.

The light of God forces a man to decide. We are either with Him or against Him. What think ye of Christ, whose son is He? was the masterstroke of a question, pointed to minds so bent on refraining from truth. Son of David yes, but also David’s Lord. Smitten of God and afflicted yes, rejected by man and forsaken by God yes, but thankfully, by virtue of Himself, He now sits on the right hand of God, a place unsuited for any other but Deity.

‘Sit thou on my right hand’ was the word, and it was enough to suggest the truth of scripture, but still, God forces no hand, even while rocks are tossed in self-incrimination. He draws, and they who judge themselves against Light, are more than willing to forgo the darkness of fleeting pleasures and the pride of life, and to gladly succumb to the source of all water.

Yes, He draws like light, like a spectacular sunset, or a new morning. The curtain rises, and He who changes not, welcomes one and all, but we must leave our pride at the door ere we sit in the pews of the greatest cathedrals that learning offers, and which intellect recognizes,  as we  observe, walk, think, and finally rest in He who ‘holds all things together by the word of His power.’  And now to borrow a thought as a reminder:

Maestro. Tap tap. The curtain rises, and darkness has no choice but to say goodbye, bowing to the light of life. ‘In Him was no darkness at all.

Imagine my disappointment – the title left me with the impression that you were leaving blogging. 😦

The darkness is not dismissed and the light is not brought forth abruptly.” – That’s because the actual earth – unlike the one described in the Bible – is round, not flat, and – unlike the one described in the bible – it rotates, rather than having the sun revolve around it.

…so like the Lord Christ who speaks to the spirit of man yet demands no obeisance.” – Demands no obeisance? What Bible are you reading? John 14:6 “No one comes to the Father except through me.

Who else is the caretaker of natures perfections.” – Uh, the laws of physics – and nature is far from perfect, which is why it keeps evolving.

…did not that once rascal Saul of Tarsus receive a new set of eyes as he was blinded by the glory of THAT light?” – Some have diagnosed that episode as being a grand mal epileptic seizure – IF it actually happened – apparently he was flopping around like a carp.

Certainly your most flowery post to date, one could almost see the dripping saccharin: “Maestro. Tap tap. The curtain rises, and darkness has no choice but to say goodbye” – oh, brother!

The handprints of the divine are stamped upon every new day as the curtain of life rises…. announcing yet another day in a nightmarish cage where every inmate is contracted by birth to prey upon the other in order to steal the proteins and fats and sugars and minerals they need just to stay alive one more day in what amounts to a daily apocalypse of obliged bloodletting.

Interpretation of religious metaphor is always challenging for those that do not acknowledge the soul.
“The caretaker of Nature’s perfection” is no to suggest that nature is perfect, but that its perfections are cared for.
“Demands no obeisance” just as a door does not. You may choose to enter through it or not. Which is why “The darkness is not dismissed.”
And as for Paul: You weren’t there.
I’d advise that you still the braying of your mind and try to listen to the voice of your heart. It is the power to heal that comes from looking at the world in a loving way that we should recognize and celebrate.. There is no reason that love should be the most powerful force in the universe, and it is that simple fact that we of faith celebrate. It gives us faith in ourselves, faith enough that when I went out to Zande’s blog to argue against his nihilism, he eventually told me to “take my religion elsewhere.”

You choose not to engage the material on my blog and then accuse me of not presenting a formal rebuttal? Well, if you get to control the axioms and terms of debate, how is that possible? Nobody can counter logical deduction if they are not allowed to challenge the argument’s precepts. That is why I pointed you at my site – to fill in the gaps in your precepts.

But to characterize the distinctions: It is obvious to even the casual observer that human initiative has vastly altered the world from its natural condition. I focus on the improvements, you tend to focus on the costs. My thesis is that the improvements are more significant and reflect a divine agency that is engaged in a slow process of healing. Your thesis assigns a hidden malefic intent that will undermine our efforts. I would argue that your justifications are similar to withholding trust in hospitals because every time you look inside you discover sick people, and even to go further claiming that the sick people actually control the doctors.

Ultimately, it comes down to a matter of power. Time will tell which one of us is right. As I see it, your thesis is disempowering. It saps human will. I have enough experience of the power of love in my life that I have absolute faith in the efficacy of the strength it awakens in myself and others.

    • Hi archaeopteryx1, you seem to be looking for answers to what is recorded in Scripture, let me assure you that there are answers but than with my being an Atheist for nearly 30 years I understand your focus too but I was humbled when confronted with God’s Truth.

So now let’s look at why the Bible is the most incredible Book ever written, some of it’s Truths were only known by God when He had man record them, yes it is all inspired by Him.

Sit back, grab a cuppa and I will share some of them with you.

Look around you, archaeopteryx1, the description of the earth you would give according to the naked eye is that it’s flat but of course today we have Big Ships and Rockets to confirm that it is round but what did God have man record over 3 thousand years ago when there were none of these….

Isaiah 40:22 It is He who sits above the Circle of the Earth and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them like a tent to dwell in.

Another Truth is that today we know that it is impossible for us to have evolved from Animals and any Truthful Medical Scientist will confirm it, how do we know….Our Human Belly Button is different from any type of Animal? this is because our D.N.A is different as we see confirmed in the the Scripture below which was recorded over two thousand years ago before they had Pathology. We now also know that they cannot transfuse animal blood into humans or human blood into animals, this confirms without a doubt that it would have been impossible for us to evolve from Animals, D.N. A never changes, which means we were Created and if we were Created, it means there is a Creator.

1 Corinthians 15:38-40 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of Men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds..(KJV)

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood (KJV)

Another Truth archaeopteryx1 is that God tells us in Scripture that Aids although like D.N.A, Dinosaurs, Rapture, The Trinity and other words which are relatively new, it is not called Aids in Scripture but it is the result of Homosexuality, although called a Virus today they now know that it comes from the Bacteria in the Anus, which attacks the Immune System and is passed on even to babies, over 30 million men , woman, babies and children are now suffering from Aids and Aids related conditions.

      My conviction….
If God said it I believe it and that settles it but even if I didn’t believe it it would still be settled and this is regardless of what Secular Scientists propagate, as proven, they have been in error much more than once before but the good news is God will reveal all things including Mysteries.

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV) perhaps our Computers today.

      Christian Love – Anne.

        • Words John as I shared before with archaeopteryx1 change over time but Strong’s definition does give light as did ColorStorm . As for the earth being flat in Scripture this is also explained below from a reliable source but please check out these Truths for yourself and not just with Atheist Websites which often contradict themselves as do Cults, so be careful what you accept as Truth from them, Satan is the Father of Lies.

          Strong’s Concordance
          dur: a circle, ball
          Original Word: דּוּר
          Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
          Transliteration: dur
          Phonetic Spelling: (dure)
          Short Definition: ball

          Strong’s Concordance
          agol: round
          Original Word: עָגֹל
          Part of Speech: Adjective
          Transliteration: agol
          Phonetic Spelling: (aw-gole’)
          Short Definition: circular

Revelation 7:1 “And after these things I saw four angels standing on four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.”

The four corners of the earth is still used today, we can logically and easily deduce that it means North, South, East, and West, meaning all over the earth.

All Scripture John is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:1-17) and I have no doubt all will be revealed as Truth, what He has said He means and yes I do share His Truth when lead to and with Atheists too (Psalm 94:16) but I know that only those who have eyes to see will understand (+see below) and so I also don’t argue with those who walk in darkness, but I do pray for them to see God’s reality as others prayed for me when I was in darkness, yes it’s still their choice, God won’t force them to repent which shows they believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, He does not want Puppets.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit for The Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but The Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but The Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth but which The Holy Ghost Teacheth, comparing spiritual things with Spiritual……….

But the Natural man receiveth not the things of The Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them because they are Spiritually discerned. But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ. K.J.V

Uh, the Chinese? like so many more, they could not give a whit as to the truth of God or scripture. You have no gripe.

I give a whit. Perhaps you have never heard: ‘buy the truth and sell it not.’ One should be careful what he peddles…

  5. Ahh, just wonderful Colorstorm.

I prefer a glorious sunrise, all purple and pink, to demonstrate His majesty, but when that is not available, I can always read the comments from the peanut gallery and see that yes indeed, Christ within us does matter. That Light is like the difference between a cool drink of water….and just trying to suck down mud.

Light, peanuts and mud. What a contrast, another golden nugget in the final sentence.

      Suckin down mud…..

It’s a gift I tell ya. Tkx insanitybytes22 for sharing the goods.

Sounds like a rather apt, if somewhat ghoulish, description of life on this planet – all life that is, feeds on life that was, for its nourishment. Tell me that’s not true – what did you eat today, a dead plant or a dead animal – or both?

One of the women who you have accused of having ‘no free thinking skills,’ has seen my post, and raised it, yep, has been inspired by your shortsightedness, and written about ‘eating,’ and life.

More daylight coming to you, courtesy of the living God. You may want to consider how true it is, that iron sharpens iron.

What, I/B? One of the most indoctrinated women this side of a burqa? Are you trying to make my case for me? Whose side are you on, yours or mine? I/B as an example of a free-thinking woman, that’s rich!

Do your self a favor and read hers. Maybe she could also endure a comment or two from you…

What a comforting post ColorStorm, just what I needed to read this evening. To think of the Glory of God’s creation and the light He brings to us is utterly astounding. Each and very day renewal, refreshment and the chance of a new start is offered, even to the Arch’s pf this world.

Exactly Arch,! God allows this stunning gift to everyone, not just believers, just as He did on the cross, that greatest do over in history that literally changed the fate of the world and its people. Yet then as today, there were those who refused to acknowledge the miracle happening right in front of them and refused the gift.

Where does that renewal come from Arch? That feeling of hope? The new feeling of life instilled with each new dawn? Without God it’s all meaningless.

Yeah T, if we want to know how valuable light is, just ask some one who is blind and cannot the color blue.

It takes a bit of gall to chastise the Lord for giving sight to the blind…………..yet today He offers this same 20/20.

The entrance of thy word giveth light 😉

Thank you for the invitation to visit you ColorStorm, which I value a comment as being one but I’m hoping you don’t mind but I feel the need to also respond to archaeopteryx1

  12. Thank you archaeopteryx1 for taking the time to reply, I appreciate that you did and I understand your confusion, once it was very much part of my life too even as a Christian but I asked for God’s wisdom and empowering having not been Born with them and I received them just as God tells us we will and now Jesus is leading me into all Truth and no longer is the Bible like a jigsaw puzzle it has become a complete picture from the start to the end.

Yes you are right archaeopteryx1, our DNA is 97% the same as chimpanzees but before they knew about the dangers of Transfusing Blood from an animal into a Human being they killed the man who they had Transfused with animal blood, yes the 3% makes a big difference and it is why we couldn’t have evolved from Animals, DNA does not change what is observed is over a short period of time is different organisms that change or mutate with the same DNA structure. We were indeed Created, God does not lie but yes Satan does.

The six days of Creation in Genesis shows very clearly that the earth is not billions of years old and God’s Creation confirms it and so does Carbon dating, the other dating methods have not been proven yet they are based on man’s suppositions.

So you don’t believe archaeopteryx1 that NASA have explored outer Space and that they have taken detailed Pictures of the Universe including a round Earth Wow! please don’t tell them they are liars and have committed world wide deception, you may find yourself in Court and if so you will need proof that the world is flat, do you know how to fly a Space Rocket?

Perhaps what will help you to understand archaeopteryx1 is if you read my response to John Zande, like you he is very confused but then so are most people who believe what Secular Scientists propagate apart from no proof, they keep changing their minds, Hmmmm do you know how many missing links they claimed were our Ancestors that were later found not to be?

God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He is not like shifting sand, His foundation is firm and so is ours when we are in Christ Jesus as ColorStorm wisely shared.

    Kind Regards – Anne.
