Has the dust settled?

Surely you have heard of rose-anne fame, and her on again off again romance and fame as a shock jock entertainer.  What really got my goat was not her mouth (which I’m pretty sure is only her opinion and so what) but ABC coming to the plate immediately and saying something about her not sharing ABC’s values….

Did anybody catch that? Like hello, anybody home in that boardroom brain? From the place that brings you the daily rants of Joy Blowhard, oops, Behar,  ABC is speaking about values?  Give me a break.

Christians are mentally unstable says the bayster, and all her kin say ‘amen.’ Values? Since when? One of the vilest mouths on television (Joy the joyless atheist) speaks her rip-roaring and un-edited lava like stream of liquid feces on a regular basis,, and ABC is all of a sudden concerned with values? Really?

From the network which promotes George Steppinoverous, and the Clinton’s as saviours of the world…………..they speak of values? If they truly had ‘values,’ they could have easily let old Rosy tighten her own noose and actually stand up for ‘opinions’ or ‘freedom of speech,’ but noooooo, her speech does not fit the template, and cannot be tolerated.

So what if she spoke of the planet of the apes. Does not atheism boast of kinship with the furry friends? Are there not nice looking apes? Who cares what bonehead comment she makes? Will not the public rule the day in the marketplace of ideas and commerce? Where are all the liberal atheists defending the apes?  Which is it, apes or humans which are being insulted? and why?

The whole thing is hilarious. Personally, I have no use for rose-anne, or sitcoms for that matter. Never saw the Big Bang theory, never saw 4 and a half men, (can’t stand Sheen) on and on and on, but apparently that stuff is popular.  But a person’s career is terminated immediately because someone does not like an opinion?  If this was a valid concern, then every TV show must end, now, because 50% will always be insulted.  And btw, when did actors ever become wise people?

In the words of John Stossel, give me a break.

  1. Bahaha! Good points. What values? ABC and values, sheesh, who are they kidding?

And in atheist-ville, we are all descended from apes, so what is the problem here? Recently the president was also in trouble for calling people animals. So if we are not animals, would the whole culture mind just stepping forward and declaring we are actually people made in the image of God? You just can’t have it both ways.

Because our government has become so big and powerful, controlling it, even just a portion of it, is a big deal. Big corporations buy news organizations and invest in the mass media to buy influence. That’s why these people often seem so corrupt. They are.

‘To buy influence.’ Love that observation, so the talking heads become the narrative instead of just reporting the facts.

In its craven pursuit of political power, the majority of white evangelicals do not have a leg to stand on when speaking of Christian values. In short, they have none!
Yes, they shamelessly wag an idolatrous and hypocritical finger at the ‘other’… with nary a sense of self-reflection.
How did it get to this stage?

When ‘a christian’ uses his words to affirm that all are created equally, then immediately turns around and applaud those who use their words to affirm that some are 1/5th of a human being; and are offspring of ape/monkey etc. then such a one is a tone deaf walking contradiction… unstable in all his ways.

Many will not read scripture, but they can, and will read the lives of those who profess to know God.

Abandoning the Gospel of Jesus for idolatry, hatred, bigotry, malice, racism, LIES, fear,… is denying Jesus who is the embodiment of TRUTH.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
