Theology

Can I shamelessly borrow from myself, and produce a thought for the day worthy of its own special place in blogsville; yeah I guess so.

Theology is the study of God. Note carefully, as words mean things. Theology is not the study of the POSSIBILITY of God. Worth repeating: Theology is the study of God.

God is a given. All men know this. The conscience is wired with the knowledge of God. The details now, that’s another story, but we have a lifetime to get it right. Some do get it right, others? eh, history is wrought with enemies of all righteousness, from they who would supplant God from His own creation, be they infidel, fool, mocker, atheist, religious fraud, deceiver, liar, take your pick, but God loses nothing.

His sunlight is not diminished by the darkness of men. And His moonlight tells the truth in the midst of darkness.

So the next time you hear people talking about ‘theologians,’ be wary of they who do not even give God the courtesy of existing, these imposters, these fake ‘scholars,’ these lying bible archaeologists who say there was no exodus, no Jericho, these false professors with a dozen letters after their name, who traffic in things well above their limited heads, and who are really midget’s, with apologies to three footers, but not only is God not impossible to see, He is clearly visible and not far from us.

Interesting insight! Reading the writings of a “theologician” who doesn’t believe reveals jaw dropping ignorance. They are so determined to prove the Bible wrong they cannot understand it. What it says does not compute. They literally have to see proof of err and a God manufactured by man.

Yeah CT that is the worst, to be minister ‘of the cloth’ so to speak, and to not believe one word of scripture.

Come up with another word or vocation, but please do not call yourself a theologian.

God and His words are one.

”Theology is the study of God.”

    Correct.
However … this tells us nothing about the veracity of the subject under study.
One could say Batology was the study of Batman but nobody is silly enough to suggest Batman is real.

C’mon ark, try to be reasonable. Surely you must admit the contents of scripture are unlike any other collection of writing.

Where else can you find a confident source that reveals the beginning, history, literature, poetry, geography, archaeology, good kings, bad kings, science, the arts, wisdom, foolishness, prophecy, truth, all speaking with one voice of credibility, which gives man origin, purpose,, and destiny.

There is a reason the Bible is found in hotel nightstands and not Marvel comics……..

Oh, in the main I most certainly do agree.
However, what it contains is, inn the main, simply ancient, man-made drivel.

So it’s the details that are a bit slippery for ya. That’s ok, not all babies are born on Wednesdays.

Are you aware of the term ‘handling the word of God deceitfully?’ a term which pseudo scholars and liars excel in?

There is no fiction where God’s word is plain as day. Genesis 1.1 sets the table and anticipates mans gripes.

Now then, I will stand on scripture over a million so called professors and self made so call biblical scholar any day of the week, and I will be correct, and they will either be misinformed…….or just plain lying.

If you are looking for any concession in scripture, forget it, God’s word is pure.

Theology, as in God first, is confirmed by His word. And as I have stated many times, this truth is hardwired into your conscience, and cannot be removed. 😉

You should be thanking God instead of arguing against Him. For God’s sake man, open your eyes, light and darkness, hot and cold, male and female, and all that.

The best examples of which are those who proclaim that a god exists.

Yet you deny theology 101. Hilarious. You do not even give God the courtesy of existing. Imagine how foolish you then appear to people who not only give Him that courtesy, but who carefully read, interpret, and understand the scriptures.

Your hands are entirely too bloody to be taken seriously. You have lost the battle long before you entire the arena.

God and His word have never lost a single argument.

“His sunlight is not diminished by the darkness of men. And His moonlight tells the truth in the midst of darkness.”

We don’t always sit in a place where God is clearly seen, but His presence is always on the scene.
