Yes, I do think so. Goes to the heart of where we live on this temporary home called earth.
These clouds were on display last week and I was immediately arrested by my eyes. Are you not as well even after the fact?
So not only are there waters above…… per the Creators prerogative, but these waters are drop dead gorgeous. The beauty is incomparable. The weight of glory is immeasurable.
I thank God. Who do you thank?
Do we thank God for creating such beauty.. or… do we thank God for giving humans the ability to perceive/interpret beauty in whatever form it takes?

Sounds good to me doug. Both are valid. You have to admit though, poison ivy is really not that beautiful, unless you are a forest animal who eats that stuff.

Well, the perception of beauty is a human trait of setting a sensory priority. To explain that I typically use the theories of Maslow and his Hierarchy of Needs. Say you are on the brink of starvation and come across a “Grand Canyon” type of gorge… and across that gorge is a rabbit sitting on a cliff you cannot reach. Your hunger motivate you to want the rabbit for your next meal… the gorge being in the way. At that moment that gorge is not really “beautiful” but rather a barrier to your continued existence.
Now.. suddenly another rabbit scampers by right in front of you, easily within reach. After you’ve had your fill of the little critter you sit back, allowing the feeling of hinger become a memory. As you do.. that gorge.. that barrier to your continued existence… now becomes a beautiful sight to behold. The gorge didn’t change.. but your perception of it did.

Beautiful pictures ColorStorm. Yes, God is so awesome and you can’t help but be awed by Him when facing such a fine example of His creation. Well, many people can’t anyway….

True enough tricia-Some say beauty is subjective- yet some things are just plain gorgeous whether we believe it/see it/ or care./
The greater thought tho is how scripture with God’s engineering of course, tells us that there is massive water ABOVE us, by way of rain, hail, snow, and that these puff balls of vapor are gentle reminders as you say.
Love those colors too. 😉

Clouds and light, that which obscures and that which reveals. Two opposites blend into one. Good morning.
