Deep things

No prophet here, just a careful bystander of current events, and paying even more attention to scripture and how all things connect via human nature, experience, and recognizing that the Creator has the final say in EVERYTHING, these things occurred to me:

I’m never impressed when men take high altitude plane flights, traversing the skies in bigger planes with more horsepower, also known as rockets, nor do bullet trains impress, neither does underwater sea hunt excursions flatter, except of course, to they who pay to have their name in lights. That’s it right, to have the name written in the Times, an epitaph so to speak, narrowed down to the select few who have dared to challenge height and depth? Why do people jump off a high bridge and pull the cord moments before impact, if not to say: ‘see how close I came to death, and won?’ or, ‘the thrill of it all exceeded the danger, and I’m here to tell you about it?’

There is nothing new in men trying to resurrect Babel, to build bigger and better hotels, to erect cities in the sky, to sink to greater depths in the oceans, to push envelopes where no post office will ever exist, and to dare to near the very living room of God, as if mileage impresses Him.

Space. The final frontier, eh? The stuff of television. I wrote in another place that the great depths of the Seas do not take kindly to strangers, for man was not made to be comfortable in places where he cannot naturally breathe.

But there are waters below, and waters above. Who could argue otherwise? Once more, scripture has the drop on the artificial science of the times. That intense pressure below, where whales are too smart to go no further, yet, men pretend to be smarter than whales, in the very place where whales are the professionals. What could possibly go wrong?

Now go upward. ALL that water above our heads, all that atmospheric pressure, all the vapor which distorts time and distance. Thank God it doesn’t rain in solid sheets! Now there’s a miracle I tell you, water sectioned into drops.

But we ignore the miraculous and call it casual, the same way we pretend to know what lies in the great deep. Where oh where Mr. and Mrs. Evolutionist or Ms. Atheist does all this water come from? Miles and miles of Deep waters across the world and beneath. Immeasurable. Thank God for Genesis else we would be more lost than London fog. And are not the broken clouds of the canopy in agreement that the waters were once both above and below, just as it was, and equally as it appears?

So why bother to concentrate on the obvious? Because people are blind to the truly miraculous and dust it away as nothing. Science (so-called) which neither has a brain nor has ever written a book, has long been the god of the ages. Am I sure? Ha, more firm than concrete.

Speaking of obvious. ‘Science’ demands we worship the ‘spinning ball’ we call earth to be part of the truly advanced intellectual Group. Atheists quickly jump on board, and for some reason, everybody else. People luuv to associate with sports heroes, the Hollywood set, or science ‘experts’ to feel ‘special’ themselves. The ‘Global’ warming Group welcomes you to the elite club. You are exclusive to be so smart. Congratulations.

But to the godless, earth NEEDS to be irrelevant, an accident, of no more significance than Jupiter or Saturn, just another brick in the wall. Follow the crumbs further. If earth has no greater ‘purpose’ than the orbs above, then man is also insignificant, with NO purpose, for purpose requires, no, demands, planning, direction, and aforethought, and by extension, man has no more purpose than a housefly who can swat his neighbor for sneezing.

So the thought of water must lead upward to He who quenches thirst, and who gives every man this natural thirst to know Him. This is why there are 10,000 religions, and all kinds of ‘science,’ not because man is superstitious, but because the intelligence of man is higher than a mouse, and men want to KNOW.

So ask yourself today, why am I so happy to promote the science of the godless? I understand the infatuation with Neil and Nye by evos and atheists, I do not however know why joe christian is equally comfortable with such unproven, assumed, and irrelevant godless science.

What we use to call science is what we could prove with the scientific method, and Christians developed the scientific method. The problem is that some people cook up theories they cannot prove with the scientific method. Then they start looking for “proofs” that don’t actually involve the scientific method to substantiate their hypotheses. The alternative method usually involves a statement to the effect that “if this discovery is made, and my hypothesis predicts that it will be made, then my hypothesis must be true, and my model must be correct.

The problem with this sort of science is that puts theories out there as fact without anyone having a good way to test them. All science does is model cause and effect. Based upon what we know about cause and effect, we can use logic to determine what happened five years ago or 5000 years ago. But we have to test our models (or hypotheses about cause and effect) to know if they actually work, and we don’t really have a good way to test our Big Bang Theories, theories on evolution, global warming computer models, and so forth using the scientific method. The problems of time and scale are just beyond us.

You’re a smart man CT/ surely you must admit God has the drop on the schemes of men, when He tells us to ‘beware of oppositions of science falsely so-called……….’
